Penang Cooking ClassPenang cooking class and wet market tour is one of the activities that you can participate when you visit this heritage city. The class is organized and brought to you by myself, under the name Nazlina's Spice Station. I have been teaching this Penang cooking class for almost two years now (April 2011), starting from June 2009.
This class proofs to be very popular for many people, including heritage enthusiasts because we bring back the taste of the old days by cooking traditional food and also old methods of cooking. The walking tour also includes a walk along the historic streets of George Town. So, what do we learn and what do we do in the cooking class? We will start with a local breakfast, then we walk the wet markets to shop for our fresh ingredients. Then, we return to designated venues at very nice locations in the city: E&O Hotel and Penang Islamic Museum, as well as Lone Pine Hotel at Batu Ferringhi. We cook outdoors in a relaxing atmosphere.
Menus are changed every month, however if you have special requirements or requests, please let me know in advance when you make the reservation. For more information and in order to make the reservation, please fill up the form here. Back to the top of Penang Cooking Class Back to Penang Heritage Homepage |
